Bonnie Siegel is a consultant in the information technology practice of Witt/Kieffer based in Oak Brook, IL. She joined the firm in 2012, and has worked in healthcare information technology executive search, consulting and market research for over 25 years. She has placed over 225 IT executives at 150 healthcare clients. She specializes in the recruitment of chief information officers, chief analytics officers, chief security information officers, chief technology officers, as well as heads of clinical informatics and other senior-level IT positions.
Most recently, Bonnie was a partner at Sanford Rose Associates, and prior to that was a vice president at Hersher Associates, Ltd. and Cejka Search. Earlier in her career she was vice president, market research and IT consultant at Sheldon I. Dorenfest & Associates in Chicago.
Bonnie is a fellow member of Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), writes a monthly blog on healthcare CIO career management for www.healthsystemcio.com and frequently presents at national healthcare IT and informatics conferences including HIMSS, as well as being published and quoted in industry publications. She served on the CHIME CIO Professional Development Initiative in 2015, recently served on the Career Services Task Force for HIMSS, and spent two years as an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago for their Masters of Health Informatics program.
Bonnie has a B.S. in Biology Education from the University of Illinois, Champaign, Urbana.
